Creamy Goat Milk
We are committed to producing high quality fresh goat milk. By keeping our herd small, we are able to closely monitor all of our animals. They are fed a diet of alfalfa hay, chopped alfalfa, alfalfa pellets and Tucker dairy goat ration.
Does are milked twice a day by machine in a dedicated milk house. The milk is strained into sterilized half gallon jars and spends two hours in the freezer before being moved to a very cold fridge.
Milk samples are tested in house weekly and sent to Washington State labs monthly for testing.
Milk is $7 per half gallon sold under a Alabama Pet Milk License. Jars are expensive, so we ask a $2 refundable deposit on each jar. We also offer milk in BPA free, recyclable totes at no additional fee. Frozen milk can also be purchased in the off seasons and still used like any other milk based products, e.g. yogurt, cheese, and ice cream making. We have plenty available for pickup on the farm.
Farm-Fresh Eggs
$4 a dozen
We offer fresh chicken & duck eggs. Our chickens free-range all over our property throughout the year.
Goose Milk Soap
$7 a bar. Our luxurious superfat soap is made from our goose eggs and goat milk. They leave your hands feeling clean and moisturized.
